Sam Robinson
Head Coach/Athletic Coordinator
Coach Robinson begins his 29th year of coaching, his 9th year at Cedar Ridge and his eighth year as Campus Coordinator/ Head Football Coach at Cedar Ridge High School. In his 7 seasons as the Raiders head coach, Cedar Ridge is 48-32 overll, 32-12 with 6 playoff apperance and reaching the State-Semi Finals in 2017. In 2017 he was named District 13-6A Coach of the Year, Padilla Poll Texas 6A Coach of the Year, and Dave Campbell Texas Football 6A Coach of the Year. Coach Robinson came to Cedar Ridge from Slaton High School where he served as Boys Coordinator/ Head Football Coach. He also has coaching stints at Royse City, Round Rock Stony Point, Levelland, Hereford, and Eastland. He graduated from Angelo State University in 1996. He has been married to his wife Kathy for 20 years and has one son, Baran, who is 18 and is Freshman at Texas Tech University.
Patrick Hayes
Special Teams Coordinator/Safeties
Coach Hayes is entering his 3rd season at Cedar Ridge and his 16th season overall with stops at Spring High School, Anderson High School, Stony Point High School, and Cedar Park High School. He and his wife are both Round Rock ISD's graduate and she currently teaches at Round Rock High School.
Kevin Zukaitis
Offensive Line Coach
Coach Zukaitis is beginning his 8th year of coaching and his second at C.D. Fulkes Middle School. Prior to C.D. Fulkes he spent 2 years teaching and coaching at Burnet Middle School in AISD and 4 years teaching and coaching baseball and football at Northwest High School in Omaha, NE. A native of Omaha, he graduated from Burke High School and went to play 4 years of college baseball in Missouri and Montana before returning home to finish his degree at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. He married his wife Kati in 2020.
Rashad Grissett
Defensive Coordinator/Linebackers
Coach Grissett is entering his 11th year of coaching, with this year being his 7th year in RRISD, and 4th season with the Raiders coaching the linebackers. He spent the first four years of his career teaching and coaching in Odessa, Texas. A native of Killeen, he is graduate of Killeen Ellison High School (c/o 09') and the University of North Texas (Bachelors). He married his lovely wife Lizeth in 2019.
Chris Silvas
Defensive Ends
Coach Silvas is entering his 8th year of coaching, and his 3rd at Cedar Ridge High School coaching defensive line and is the Head Wrestling coach. Before Cedar Ridge, he was the linebacker and Defensive line coach at Lehman high school in Kyle, Texas. A native from Canutillo, he earned his Masters and Bacholers degree at Sul Ross State University where he also lettered in Football as a Linebacker.
Binta Norman
Run Game Coordinator/Offensive Line
Coach Norman, a Killeen, Texas native is entering his 2nd season with the Raiders. Coach Norman is a graduate from Texas State University where he majored in Exercise Sports since with a minor in education. Coach Norman teaches World Georgraphy and is the Run Game coordinator, assistant football coach and assistant wrestling coach. He is engaged to his lovely fiance Janet and they have 1 son, Isias.
Xerien Santikham
Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks
Coach Santikham, a Round Rock Native and Cedar Ridge alumni is entering his 2nd season with the Raiders. Coach Santikham coaches the Quarterbacks and serves as the Offensive Coordinator while also teaching in the special education department. Coach Santikham is a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin where he majored in Kinesiology and Health Education with a minor in Education.
Jason Patterson
Assistant Head Coach/Running Backs
Coach Patterson is starting his 20th year teaching and coaching. This is his third year at Cedar Ridge High School serving as the assistant head football coach as well as coaching running backs. He is also the head boys track coach. Coach Patterson grew up in central Texas graduating from San Marcos High School. He played football at Pittsburg State University for four years earning three NCAA Division II conference championships. He started his coaching career in Austin ISD, and has coached in Del Valle ISD, San Marcos ISD, Pflugerville ISD and Cyfair ISD. Throughout his 20 years, he has coached several teams with district championships and playoff appearances. Coach Patterson earned his masters from Pittsburg State University in Health, Human Performance and Recreation. He has been married for 16 years to his wife, Lori and they have two children. Devin, a 10th grader at Cedar Ridge and Lanay, a 6th grader at Ridgeview.
Howard Guttmann
Football Operations/Quality Control
Coach Guttmann has been coaching around the Austin area for 34 years. Starting at CD Fulkes and Round Rock HS; then Head Boy's Soccer coach at Westwood, Lake Travis, and Austin High; O Line coach at LBJ/LASA and Akins; as well as Eastside Memorial, . This is his 9th year at Cedar Ridge, and his 19th year in RRISD. Coach Guttmann teaches AP Macroeconomics, and Economics. Coach Guttmann is working with Technology and Film and has also coached soccer and track at Cedar Ridge.
Lance Ashford
Corners
Coach Ashford is entering his 4th year coaching, with this being his 1st year at Cedar Ridge High School. His previous three years were spent in middle schools in San Marcos, Texas and Georgetown, Texas. Coach Ashford is a former Cedar Ridge Raider, where back in 2013 and 2014, he competed in Football and Track. He went on to play football for one year at Howard Payne University and after he transferred to Texas State University, he graduated with a degree in Excercise and Sports Science in 2021. With his girlfriend Destiny, he has a 2 year old son, Carter.
Tony Oslovar
Coach Oslovar (Oz), is a Cedar RIdge alumni and graduated in 2015 where he competed on the Baseball team. Following graduation he went to North Lake College and later transferred to University of Texas at Permian Basin to continue his baseball career. Coach Oz graduated with his Bachelors in Criminology from UTPB in 2019 and worked with Williamson County Juvenile Services for the last four years. Coach Oz will be teaching the Law And Safety Class and will also be an Assistant Baseball coach in the spring.
Reg McConnell
Coach McConnell is entering his 13th year of coaching and 18th year in education. This season will be his first at Cedar Ridge coaching the defensive tackles in football and assisting in track . His first 4 years of coaching were at Nocona High School. The next 6 years were at Big Spring High School followed by two years at Georgetown High School. Coach McConnell went to high school at Sundown High School and graduated from Midwestern State. Coach McConnell is married to Gina McConnell and has two children, Trent a Junior at Texas Tech and Abby a Senior at Georgetown High School.
Crystal Dunn
Athletic Administrative Assistant
Ms. Dunn is entering her third year as the Athletic Admin Assistant at Cedar Ridge High School. Prior to this, she was a fulltime substitute teacher for RRISD. She has two sons, Grant and Gavin Dunn, who are CRHS Class of 2016 and Class of 2020 Alumni. They both played football and baseball all 4 years for Cedar Ridge. Her youngest son, Trent Bell, is an incoming Freshman who plans to participate in football, basketball and track. LET'S GO RAIDERS!!!
